Where should we meet for lessons?
Your exact beach location and meeting instructions will be provided before your lesson. Locations may vary based on surf conditions, weather, safety, and beach access.
Please arrive on time and ready to begin. Lessons start promptly with required land-based safety instruction. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your lesson may be treated as a no-show. If the lesson can still be conducted safely, it will end at the originally scheduled time. Late arrivals and no-shows are not eligible for refunds, rescheduling, or booking credits.

A limited number of beginner-friendly soft-top surfboards are available for private and small-group lessons. Please let us know when booking how many participants will need a board so availability can be confirmed.
If your group requires more boards than Sampaguita Surf has available, participants may bring an appropriate board or rent one from a local surf shop. We’re happy to share nearby rental options, but reservations, pickup, return, and rental fees are the participant’s responsibility.
Surfboards are not included with clinics or community surf events unless specifically stated. Participants should bring their own suitable board or arrange a local rental in advance.

A standard surf lesson lasts approximately 90 minutes. This time includes any necessary board-rental pickup, walking to the beach, required land-based safety and skill instruction, and guided practice in the water.
The amount of water time may vary based on surf conditions, safety considerations, rental logistics, and each participant’s needs. If you’re renting a board locally, your specific pickup and meeting instructions will be provided before the lesson.
If conditions are unsuitable, Sampaguita Surf will contact you as soon as possible to reschedule. A liability waiver will be sent after your appointment request is accepted and must be completed before participating.

Each lesson reserves dedicated time, equipment, and instructor availability exclusively for you. All bookings are final. Sampaguita Surf does not offer cancellations or refunds.
If you are unable to attend your scheduled lesson, you may reschedule your booking by providing at least forty-eight (48) hours' notice before your scheduled lesson. Rescheduling requests received less than forty-eight (48) hours before the scheduled lesson are not eligible for rescheduling, refunds, or booking credits. Exceptions may be made at the sole discretion of Sampaguita Surf.
In such cases, your lesson will be rescheduled at a mutually agreeable date and time. If a new date cannot be arranged at that time, a booking credit equal to the value of the original booking will be issued and will remain valid for one (1) year from the original lesson date.
